Harry Lewis felt yesterday's 0-0 draw at Crawley Town represented "two points dropped" for the Bantams.

The City goalkeeper acknowledged that a point at the Broadfield Stadium now means there is a smaller margin for error in the Bantams' final seven games of the season.

Despite knowing his side could have taken more from the game, City’s No.1 took positives, and was happy to have kept his 17th clean sheet of the season.

“It feels like two points dropped,” he said.

“If we would have come here earlier in the season and got a point, we would be relatively satisfied, but at this stage of the season, it is a game we need to be winning.

“We have seven games to go, and we need to be near-perfect now, but as we have said before, if you cannot win, do not lose.

“We have to take the positives from this, but it is still two points dropped.

“It feels nice to have the clean sheet. We are very proud of the clean sheets, it is something that we want to continue.

“Since the turn of the year, It is something we have really improved on. Before, I would be making a few saves per game, now I am lucky to have to make one.”

The Bantams stopper praised the "fantastic" away support and was disappointed not to be able to send the travelling fans home with three points.

The former Southampton 'keeper is looking forward to getting back to the University of Bradford Stadium ahead of Monday’s game against Sutton United and hopes to pick up the three points for the City supporters.

“The hardest thing about today, is that you want to win for them,” Lewis added.

“The support is incredible. Fans were setting off at 5.30 in the morning to get down here. Everywhere we go, they are following and it is fantastic. It makes you proud to represent the club.

“We are in a league with a quick turnaround. You have to put this behind you and move onto Monday.

“It is going to be a difficult game, but I am sure the fans will turn out and create a great atmosphere again. Hopefully, we can reward them with the three points.”
