Bradford High School Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) Youth Clean Up Local Parks
April 6, 2018

During Tobacco Free Florida Week, Bradford High School SWAT members held park clean ups around Bradford County. Students picked up tobacco litter and trash from three local parks: Wainwright park, Edwards Road Sports Complex, and Thomas Road Park.

SWAT students are always shocked to see how much tobacco litter accumulates each year.  Cigarette butts continue to be one of the most littered items in the United States today. National data reveals that tobacco litter accounts for roughly one-third of all litter collected during clean-up projects.

Students Working Against Tobacco Students in Bradford County are committed to keeping local parks and youth sports complexes clean.
