Tobacco Free Partnership Members and SWAT Representatives Attend Back to School Information Fair
August 14 , 2015

The 8th Annual Back to School Info Fair took place on August 14, 2015. The fair was held at the Bradford Middle School Gym. “The Back to School Info Fair” was established catering to the mental, physical and spiritual needs of our community, this event unifies the Bradford County community and assists children and families attending schools in Bradford County for the 2015-16 academic year. The objective of this event is to provide free information to the general public about the County’s varied organizations and to provide some school supplies for each student that attends.

Bradford County High School Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) and Tobacco Free Partnership members were in attendance and set up a booth to provide information to 2015-2016 Bradford County students. Students received a goody bag filled with supplies and information on the dangers of tobacco use. SWAT students and Partnership members were able to reach a large number of students and their families. Students in attendance that visited the SWAT table were able to nominate their favorite Bradford County teacher. A teacher’s name was drawn out and a basket of supplies were provided for their classroom. Congratulations to Mrs. Clark from Starke Elementary!

Bradford County High School SWAT students served as examples to other youth in their community and really enjoyed their time serving their community and fellow Bradford County Students.
