Local High School Student Represents Bradford County at National Leadership Forum
March 1, 2018

Grace Johns, a senior at Bradford High School, received a scholarship to attend the 28th Annual CADCA National Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C. This scholarship was very competitive and it was a huge honor to be selected.

CADCA's mission is to reduce drug, alcohol and tobacco use one community at a time. The National Leadership Forum trains students and adults on relevant prevention issues and best practices.

Grace enjoyed her trip to D.C. and the knowledge and training she received was invaluable. "Attending the CACDA allowed me to connect with other high school youth working towards the same goal of eliminating tobacco and drug use in our schools," Grace said. "I had the opportunity to hear some great speakers who shared new ideas and strategies on how we can encourage youth to make good choices." Grace is excited to bring back what she learned to Bradford County and impact the citizens in a positive way.
