Tobacco Free Partnership Members and SWAT Members Educate the Community at the Strawberry Festival
April 8, 2017

The 19th Annual Strawberry Festival took place in Starke, Florida on April 8-9, 2017. The North Florida Regional Chamber of Commerce puts on this annual event, and the Tobacco-Free Partnership of Bradford County was a silver sponsor for the event this year.

This is the second year the Chamber of Commerce made the decision to protects attendees of the Strawberry Festival by making the event Tobacco-Free. Designated areas were set up for tobacco use. The Tobacco-Free Partnership of Bradford County provided the signage for the event and participated as a vendor.

Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) were also at the event educating attendees on the dangers of tobacco use and the dangers of second-hand smoke.

We would like to thank the North Florida Regional Chamber of Commerce for protecting citizens from second-hand smoke by having a tobacco-free event in Bradford County!
