Kian came through the Bantams’ youth system and signed his first professional contract in July 2020.
Scales scored his first senior goal for City in their 2-1 triumph over Colchester United in March 2021.
Having spent time on loan at Farsley Celtic during the 2021/22 campaign, Scales will be hoping to make more first team appearances for the Bantams this season.
