Oscar joined the Bantams in the summer of 2021 from fellow Sky Bet League Two side Salford City.
The 27-year-old arrived at the University of Bradford Stadium with plenty of experience, having made over 200 career appearances.
Threlkeld made 26 appearances last season, mainly at right back, but he can also play in midfield.
