Liam signed for City on a two-year deal last summer having previously spent seven and a half years at fellow Sky Bet League Two side Tranmere Rovers.
The 31-year-old has plenty of experience, and is nearing 400 career games.
Ridehalgh will be looking to add another promotion from the fourth-tier with the Bantams, after winning the Playoffs with Tranmere in 2019.
